In April, 2024 the Department of Justice published, "Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Disability; Accessibility of Web Information and Services of State and Local Government Entities."Â This final rule revising the ADA in relation to websites, targets 2.1 Level AA as the minimum requirements for 4 website criteria:

- Operable

4. Robust
There are a number of companies offering ADA compliance tools. We suggest that you have your eyes wide open and always ask, "What do I have to do with your tool to confirm my website accessibility status." Just having the new widget doesn't promise compliance, you still need to fix your issues.
